Superfund is EPA's program to identify, investigate and clean up uncontrolled or abandoned hazardous waste sites throughout the United States. It is also Region 9's program to prevent, prepare and respond to environmental emergencies.

Use this Web site to get information on sites addressed by Region 9's Superfund office, learn about Superfund and the cleanup process, and get involved in a cleanup effort in your community.
