    Organization of the Year
    The Nature Conservancy in Illinois was named the Organization of the Year at the 2008 Illinois Outdoor Hall of Fame Banquet. The Conservancy was honored at the Illinois Conservation Foundation sponsored ceremony for 50 years of extraordinary contributions to natural resource preservation work.
