Pesticide recertification
Requirements
Recertification is the process of renewing your initial certification. You can only renew your license at the end of your certification period if you have recertified. You can renew your certification in either of the following two ways

1. Retake all the examinations that you took to become initially certified; this includes the Laws & Safety Examination, and all other category examinations you need to certify you for the work you will be doing. To obtain the maximum certification period, it is recommended that you re-test between November 17 and December 31 of your final year of certification; this will assure that your new certification period will be a full five years.

2. Accumulate the required number of credit hours of continuing education training approved by ODA to meet your recertification requirement. The number of credit hours required depends on the type of license you hold. Credit hour accumulation may begin the day after you qualify for licensing; the requirements must be met by December 31 of your last year of certification.
