This is the final report from Portland State University, entitled, "Needs, Costs and Funding Alternatives for Transportation Services of Older Adults and People with Disabilities in Urban and Rural Oregon". This report was commissioned by ODOT Public Transit Division and the Department of Human Services, in partnership with Oregon Association of Counties. The report is in response to the 2007 DHS Budget Note which directed DHS and ODOT to "...investigate sources of new revenue to enhance funding for elderly and disabled transportation services..."

This report is an evaluation of the "Coordinated Plans." It identifies where the plans can be strengthened, and also identifies key findings and common themes that emerged from the individual plans.
The Older Driver in Oregon: A Survey of Driving Behavior and Cessation
Survey focused on the factors influencing driving cessation, physical and emotional barriers delaying driving cessation, modes of alternative transportation, and warning signs that caused a driver to stop driving.
