The Department of Geology and Mineral Industries - Mineral Land Regulation and Reclamation Program (DOGAMI-MLRR) issues permits for all extraction, processing, and reclamation for minerals. Permitting for oil, gas, and geothermal exploration is also done through the Albany office of DOGAMI.
