art studentThe Department of Fine and Performing Arts emphasizes an extensive, studio-based curriculum, a diversity of style and creativity, and the development of critical judgment and historical perspective. The intensive study of art is enhanced by an array of impressive resources that include spacious, well-equipped studio and performance facilities, small classes, and a dedicated faculty. The program addresses contemporary issues and promotes an atmosphere which is balanced between conceptual development and material exploration.

Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees are offered in the following concentrations: Ceramics, Graphic Design, Painting, Printmaking, Sculpture, and Photography.

Students also may pursue a self-designed major in Arts Management. Minors in Art History and Studio Art are also available.
