Bradbury Receives First Roger Wood Award
Oregon Secretary of State Bill Bradbury receives the first Roger Wood Memorial Award from OWEB Board Co-chairs Diane Snyder and Dan Heagerty. The award recognizes people making outstanding contributions to conservation in Oregon. It honors long-time OWEB staff member Roger Wood who died in early September, just days after retiring. Bradbury was recognized for sponsoring 1993 legislation making the first investment in Oregon watershed health, founding For the Sake of Salmon and giving more than 140 presentations on climate change.
