Castleton, Vt. - January 15, 2009 - The Colby-Sawyer men's basketball team took a break from TCCC action to travel to Castleton, on Thursday night. The Chargers defeated the Spartans 103-68, to improve to 9-3 overall. Castleton falls to 1-11.
NEW LONDON, N.H. January 13, 2009 The Colby-Sawyer men's basketball team improved to 2-0 in TCCC play and 8-3 overall, after a 71-48 win, over in-state rival New England College. It was a full team effort, as eleven players scored, led by freshman Will Bardaglio (Wayne, Maine), who tallied a career-high 21 points. The loss drops New England College to 2-11 overall and 0-2 in TCCC action.
NEW LONDON, N.H. January 10, 2009 The Colby-Sawyer men's basketball team opened TCCC play with a convincing 80-54 victory over Regis. Junior David Rosso (Wilmington, Vt.) led four Chargers in double-figures with 19 points. Colby-Sawyer improves its record to 7-3 overall and 1-0 in the TCCC. Regis evens its record to 6-6 overall and drops to 0-1 in the TCCC.
NEW LONDON, N.H. January 8, 2009 The Colby-Sawyer men's basketball team dropped to 6-3 on the season, after suffering a 65-55 loss to Middlebury. The Chargers were unable to hang on to a halftime lead, as the Panthers improve to 11-2 behind their strong second half comeback.
NEW LONDON, N.H. December 11, 2008 - The Colby-Sawyer men's basketball defeated the Polar Bears of Bowdoin, 63-57 on Thursday evening. The Chargers push their record to 6-2 after their fourth straight win. Bowdoin falters for just the second time this season dropping their record to 7-2.
NORTHFIELD, Vt. December 7, 2008 - Seniors Andrew Cousins (South Portland, Maine) scored a game-high 21 points, and Duncan Szeliga (Newmarket, N.H.) added 20 points to lead Colby-Sawyer to a 74-58 victory over Norwich in the Ed Hockenbury Classic title game Saturday afternoon at Andrews Hall. The Chargers have won three straight improving their record to 5-2.
NORTHFIELD, Vt. December 6, 2008 - Matt Lemieux scored 23 points and dished out a game-high nine assists, and Will Bardaglio scored 16 points as Colby-Sawyer defeated Worcester State, 85-72, in the first round of the 2008 Ed Hockenbury Classic Saturday evening at Andrews Hall.
CONCORD, N.H. December 2, 2008 - The Colby-Sawyer Chargers earned an 87-83 win over Plymouth State in the second game of the 9th Annual Jacob's Bridge Through Autism Basketball classic, held on Tuesday evening at NHTI. The win pushes Colby-Sawyer's record to 3-2, while Plymouth State falls to 2-3.
NASHUA, N.H. - November 22, 2008 - With a first half that boasted four lead changes and three ties, it was easy to see that this match was shaping up to go down to the wire. Colby-Sawyer went to the half with the slight 28-26 margin, but the lead changes and ties kept coming in the early part of the second.

The Colby-Sawyer Chargers never trailed as they hit the first three pointer of the first half and never gave up the lead. The lead had grown to 12 by halftime and the Chargers never looked back.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - November 10, 2008 - The Colby-Sawyer men's basketball team has been selected as the favorite to win the 2008-09 TCCC men's basketball championship, as announced by TCCC Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye, Monday morning. The voting for the preseason poll was conducted among the league's head men's basketball coaches.
