The fields of interest of Dr. Jill Schroeder, Weed Scientist at NMSU, include weed management in irrigated cropping systems of NM including chile peppers, cotton, wheat, corn and grain sorghum; herbicide persistence and soil interactions. Projects include interdisciplinary, cooperative research to identify interactions between weeds and other pests.
