ELME student 06ELME is a summer science program for graduate and undergraduate students at MSU's Kellogg Biological Station. The program offers students the opportunity to learn how to apply mathematical and statistical tools to questions in ecology and evolution.

Students both with and without formal training in mathematics have benefited from these courses as the students learn ecological applications of math in a hands-on, interactive format. The program will include three independent one-week math courses each focusing on different mathematical and statistical topics, followed by a four-week field ecology and evolution course.

Scholarships or fellowships are provided to most participants.
