Entrance Fees
Chesapeake & Ohio National Historical Park is one of about 150 park service units that charge an entry fee. 100% of the fees collected at the Great Falls Entrance Station are returned to the park for specific projects.
Visitors to Great Falls can purchase a three day entrance pass or one of several annual or life-time passes at the Great Falls entrance station.
Three Day Pass
- $5.00 – per private, non-commercial vehicle (includes motorcycles, passenger cars, pickup trucks, RV’s, and vans).
- $3.00 – per person 16 years of age or older when entering on foot or bicycle.
Park passes are valid for the date of purchase + two days at Great Falls Park, Virginia and C&O Canal NHP at Great Falls.

Frequent visitors to the C&O Canal NHP at Great Falls may want to purchase an annual pass that covers entrance to Great Falls Park, Virginia and C&O Canal NHP, Maryland.
