Colorado State Parks Strategic Planning Program

The Strategic Planning Program provides expertise, leadership, and resources to develop and guide comprehensive division-wide plans, polices, and various high profile special projects and programs.  Among the Strategic Planning Program’s ongoing responsibilities are management of the Division’s Strategic Plan, Annual Reports, Implementation Plans, management of the Great Outdoors Colorado planning program, State Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan, and management of the Division’s state and federal government tracking programs.  The Strategic Planning Program also assists in development of individual park management plans and various park development plans, as needed.  
 

As of Spring 2008, the Strategic Planning Program consists of one full-time staff — and one seasonal staff.   Both report directly to the Deputy Director of Planning, Business Development, and Marketing.
