We offer a variety of records management training options.

Briefings

We offer a 1-hour briefing on records management for audiences that include senior managers and program managers. The briefings are intended to demonstrate the importance of records management to those who have final authority in assigning resources to records and information management programs. Call us to request a Briefing.

Special Events and Programs

We host special meetings, open houses, tours, seminars, and conferences from time-to-time to keep the Federal community informed of the latest happenings in records management and provide opportunities for agencies to visit the NARA operation. Other activities include the proposed electronic records storage service and multi-agency continuity of operations facility.

We presented a Digital Preservation Conference (DigIn) on June 4-6, 2008 at the University of New Mexico Continuing Education Center in Albuquerque, NM. Cosponsors for the event were New Mexico State Records Center and Archives, New Mexico State Library, University of New Mexico Libraries, New Mexico Department of Information Technology, Northern New Mexico ARMA Chapter, Rio Grande ARMA Chapter, and Special Library Association Rio Grande Chapter. Experts from business, government, and legal and engineering professions were featured speakers.

The Records Administration Conference (RACO) West is held annually in western NARA regions. RACO West was hosted by the Rocky Mountain Region in 2004.
