Revision

The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) gives notice of the revision of PAR-06-057 Centers for Agricultural Disease and Injury Research, Education, and Prevention of the items below.

(1) Part I, Executive Summary. The second bullet is changed to: “The total amount to be awarded for this program is expected to be $1.2 million annually. NIOSH anticipates making 1 award for up to 3 years in duration.”

(2) Part II, Section II, 2. Funds Available. The first sentence in the first paragraph is changed to: “Approximately $1.2 million is available to fund 1 award.” The second paragraph is changed to: “The total project period for an application submitted in response to this PAR may not exceed three (3) years. The anticipated award date is July 1 each year. The award and level of support depends on receipt of applications of high scientific merit.”

(3) Part II, Section VII, 1. The Scientific/Research Contact is changed to:

(4) Applications related to tractor safety submitted under this announcement must show collaboration with current grantees working on the NIOSH National Tractor Safety Initiative. Tractor safety projects submitted under this announcement will be evaluated with regard to their potential for advancing or complementing the next phase of the NIOSH national tractor safety campaign.
