Where to Ride

In Colorado State Parks
State Forest State Park  in Walden has 75 miles of four-wheel drive and snowmobile trails. Vega State Park in Western Colorado is an access point to hundreds of miles of OHV/snowmobile trails in Grand Mesa National Forest. Mancos State Park, near Cortez in Southwestern Colorado, is a good access point to the West Mancos Trail, which connects to many miles of trails on public lands. While at Mancos, stay at one of the yurts, which can be reserved throughout the winter.

On Public Lands
Check out the Trail Reports page on the Colorado Snowmobile Association Web site for places to ride your snowmobile in Colorado. See the Colorado Land Agency Map for location and contact information for several government agencies, including the Bureau of Land Management and the United States Forest Service.
