2009 Presidential Inauguration

Thank you for visiting the National Park Service’s Inaugural website! Despite multiple Inaugural-related events, the weekend also features activities connected to Martin Luther King’s birthday, including students reciting King’s "I have a Dream" speech and the placement of a wreath nearby at the site where a new Memorial will be built to honor the legacy of Dr. King. Please click on the "News" link for an advisory about these two different events to be held Friday, January 17. Welcome and enjoy!
