Salary Commensurate with Experience

Seeking a Manager, Finance Treasury to be responsible for managing the investment activity and cash flow of three public agencies, as well as to supervise the efficient processing of revenues and producing annual financial reports and maintaining compliance.

Successful candidate will supervise professional accounting staff in the accurate and timely processing of revenue receipts, collections activities, and reconciliation of general ledger accounts. Responsible for cash management activities; monthly, quarterly, and annual investment reports; oversight of all month-end, quarterly, and annual Treasury Department journal entries; and arbitrage calculations on all bond issuances. Provide guidance to Treasury staff to ensure the accurate and timely performance of their duties. Identify and implement plans and procedures to improve operational efficiency,
maintain Treasury records and reports, assist the Director of Finance with special projects, and other duties as assigned.

Must have a CPA or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, plus sufficient progressively responsible experience in the fields of accounting, auditing or finance (including sufficient supervisory experience). Knowledge of enterprise accounting, GAAP and governmental accounting required. Must be proficient in Excel, with knowledge of automated financial management systems (PeopleSoft a plus) and good overall PC skills. The ability to prioritize work to maintain an orderly flow of accurate information, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills, are necessary.
