Stewart Named IWLCA All-Region

NEW LONDON, N.H. – May 22, 2008 – Colby-Sawyer College midfielder and senior standout Tara Stewart, a native of Londonderry, N.H., became the first Charger lacrosse player since 1993 to earn All-Region status as she was named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Pilgrim Region Second Team.

Chargers Win Second Straight

CASTLETON, Vt. - April 10, 2008 - The Castleton State College women's lacrosse team saw its program-best win-streak snapped at four games by Colby-Sawyer 17-9 in non-conference action. Colby-Sawyer held an 8-6 lead at halftime, but back-to-back goals by the Spartans to open the second half tied the score at 8-8. The two teams traded goals to make it 9-9 before the Chargers unleashed an 8-0 run over the final 18:35 to earn the win.

MANCHESTER, N.H. - March 22, 2008 - New England College junior attacker Brandi Vittum (Woodstock, Vt.) would score with just two seconds remaining in regulation to lift the Pilgrims past the Colby-Sawyer College Chargers 10-9 Saturday afternoon in Manchester.
