To help secure our environment, the college has implemented the following password policies on domain computers. They meet or exceed all requirements as defined in the university security document.

Not contain all or part of the user's account name
-
Be at least eight characters in length
-
Contain characters from three of the following four categories:
- English uppercase characters (A through Z)
- English lowercase characters (a through z)
- Base 10 digits (0 through 9)
- Non-alphabetic characters (for example, ~!#$%()_+-={}[]\:;,.?/
Blocked computers
- Periodically, computers in the college become infected and try to infect other machines on campus. As these become known, we identify and make an attempt to locate and clean them. If they can't be located, they are blocked from the network. This is a list of computers we are blocking as of today
