January 15 Vegetation Management Plan Meeting Postponed
Based on feedback from community members interested in the Mt. Tamalpais Vegetation Management Plan, MMWD has decided to postpone the January 15 meeting until a later date. This postponement will give stakeholders adequate time to review the final vegetation management plan reports, once they are ready for release.
The VMP goals & objectives and the background report on fire risk reduction are now available on the vegetation management plan page (under "Reports and Related Resources"). The two remaining documents that are part of the VMP development process, the biodiversity report and the vegetation management alternatives report, will be posted online soon.
We will announce a new meeting date as soon as it is scheduled.
