Making A Change

America is at a crossroads.

The special places we value are vanishing quickly. In less than a generation our remaining natural areas could be gone.

At the same time, neighbors are coming together to take conservation into their own hands to save cherished places.  We're experiencing a groundswell movement that crosses political, regional, ethnic and economic boundaries to keep nature running free.

Land Trusts, the Land Trust Alliance, and You

You can help save the places that are important to you by:

  • Learning how to permanently conserve land that you, your family or your friends own.

  • Promoting conservation to important landowners in your community.

  • Letting your elected leaders know that land conservation matters to you and asking them to support land conservation measures.

  • Volunteering your time and expertise, and contributing resources to land trusts in your community and to the Land Trust Alliance.

Find the right type of membership for you - visit our membership page.  We also invite individuals to join or make a special contribution to the Land Trust Alliance today!
