Funds are available to both federal and private organizations to perform environmental research and development through a competitive process. The Core solicitation requests proposals related to all four SERDP focus areas. For the Core solicitation, pre-proposals from the non-federal sector were due January 8, 2009 and federal proposals are due March 12, 2009. In addition, SEED Statements of Need (SON) were released for several focus areas. All SERDP SEED proposals are due March 12, 2009. Detailed instructions and the SONs are available on the SERDP site under the “Funding Opportunities” link. __________ | ESTCP FY 2010 Proposal Solicitation Released SERDP's partner in environmental technology, the Environmental Security Technology Certification Program (ESTCP), released its FY 2010 solicitation to both federal and non-federal organizations on January 8, 2009. The due date for all pre-proposals is March 5, 2009. Details about the solicitation are available on the ESTCP site (www.estcp.org) under Opportunities. WEBINAR - Through the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Technology Innovation Program, ESTCP Director Dr. Jeffrey Marqusee will conduct an online seminar “ESTCP Funding Opportunities” on January 15, 2009, from 2:00-4:00 PM EST. This “how to play” briefing will offer valuable information for those who are interested in funding opportunities within ESTCP.
