Aquatic Nuisance Species Research

sampling

Aquatic nuisance species (ANS) research at the Center for Lakes and Reservoirs spans a wide variety of organisms from freshwater aquatic weeds to marine crustaceans. Species specific research projects take place throughout Oregon and the western US often concentrating on regional distribution and impacts of ANS. Our staff and students represent a wide variety of research interests ranging from marine ecology to limnology allowing us to study a suite of nonnative aquatic species across a variety of habitats.
