Presenter Information

Oral Presentations

  • All oral presentations as part of concurrent sessions or specialized sessions are podium style with stationary microphone, a laptop computer for Power Point slide presentations at the podium, and digital screen projection unless special arrangements have been specifically requested and granted with acceptance of an abstract as part of a special symposium, workshop or forum.
  • Special audio/visual equipment can be requested at the time of submission of an abstract. Approval or denial of any special requests will occur with acceptance or rejection of the submitted abstract. No adjustments to audio/visual needs can be made after acceptance of the abstract.
  • All concurrent session presentations are 20 minutes in length, including any time provided by the speaker for questions and answers.
  • Presentations for accepted special sessions, symposia, forums, and workshops will be determined by the session organizers to fit in the time granted for the particular session.
  • All speakers must arrive at their session room location at least 45 minutes before the start of their session to load their presentations on the laptop computer provided for their session. This should be done in collaboration with their session moderator(s) to ensure that the moderators are aware of their presentation file(s). File names should include the last name of the presenter and the session day of the week and time. It is the responsibility of the speakers to ensure that their presentations are properly loaded, accessible, and operational prior to the start of their session.

Poster Presentations

  • Posters will be displayed for 24 hours with the author presence required for 2 hours at specified times during the poster session. These times will be clearly identified within the program prior to the meeting.
  • Poster boards will be 5’ wide by 4’ tall and will allow push pin or thumb tack mounting. Posters can be any format as designed by the author(s) as long as they fit within the provided space.
  • There are no style guidelines or requirements mandated by the Society for Range Management.
