Many of Cooperative Extension’s accomplishments are enhanced and strengthened by people and organizations with vision who desire to financially support the development of many of our outstanding programs. These programs are offered by faculty and staff, often working closely with volunteers, in communities across the State of Connecticut. Ways to give include unrestricted or purpose-designated gifts of cash, securities or other property, bequests and deferred gifts.

Those who make gifts in support of Cooperative Extension through the University of Connecticut Foundation can be secure in the knowledge that they have directly benefited programs that help make the state a better place.

Below is a list of Extension accounts currently established through the University of Connecticut Foundation. *Endowments are gifts of money or other donated property such as stocks and bonds that are invested to produce ongoing income for designated purposes. Endowment funds are critical to securing UConn’s long-term financial stability. When alumni and friends establish endowments to support a faculty chair, scholarship or program objective, the UConn Foundation invests the funds to provide a permanent source of financial support to benefit the University.
