Through our new COSEE Great Lakes project, create dynamic linkages
between educators and scientists as well as enhancing ocean and
Great Lakes science education throughout the Great Lakes region.
We provide standards-based science curricula. The
"Greatest of the Great Lakes - A Medley of
Model Lessons" CD is now available. The curriculum
collection contains 41 innovative classroom activities.
Offer professional experience and financial support to graduate
students through Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant's Fellowship Program and
National programs such as Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship
Improve knowledge about coastal issues through publications
including Water Issues and
Concerns, BeachWatch,
Exploring Science Writing,

Offer educational programs, such as the
Fish School project on fish

Lending Network of 32 Centers across the U.S. and Canada

resources for high school students
