ONLINE SUBMISSION
The Agriculture Office now allows the public to submit online notice of intents for pesticide usage.  You will need to have your Permit Number ready.

THE AGRICULTURAL COMMISSIONER
enforces the provisions of the California Food and Agricultural Code for the protection of the public's health, safety and welfare, and to promote and protect the agricultural industry.  Please visit the Glassy-winged Sharpshooter for more information.

THE WEIGHTS AND MEASURES DIVISION
tests, seals, or condemns all commercial weighing and measuring devices in the county; performs vapor recovery system inspections; inspects prepackaged items to assure content; tests and inspects petroleum products for quality and label truth; and, regulates procedures used by Weighmasters to issue certificates for the sale of bulk products.  Please visit our firewood brochure "How to Avoid Getting Burned When Buying Firewood" for more information.

THE ANIMAL CONTROL DIVISION
protects public health and safety by implementing dog licensing and rabies vaccination programs, responding to complaints regarding dangerous or rabid animals, and removing injured, sick, or dead strays. The division also provides assistance with predatory animals, investigates complaints of animal abuse or neglect, and takes appropriate action to deal with other problems associated with the care and control of animals.  Please visit the Animal Control Adoptable Pets website.

SELECT SAN JOAQUIN AND SUPPORT LOCAL AGRICULTURE
Select San Joaquin is a program developed to encourage consumers to support local agriculture by choosing County-grown produce when they shop. The program aims to educate consumers on the importance of agriculture to the local economy and promotes the healthy benefits of eating freshly, grown local produce.
