Perhaps the fastest way to have questions answered is to visit your local county Extension office. You may also mail specimens to extension specialists and the West Virginia Department of Agriculture Pest Identification Laboratory. Online identification is also available. Submission of Specimens Through the Mail Please print one of the following forms and mail it and the pest specimens to the address listed on the form. These forms give us information which might hasten the identification process. Insect Identification Request Form Insects: Insect specimens should be sent to the Pest Identification Laboratory, West Virginia Department of Agriculture, 1900 Kanawha Blvd. East, Charleston, WV 25305-0191, (304) 558-2212.
