Durham County Center is dedicated to providing families with the tools they need to build healthier families. Nutrition is an emerging science. As more research becomes available, public interest (and confusion) regarding nutrition and its effect on health is at an all time high. With mounting evidence of the diet-disease relationship, it is clear that nutritional status has a direct impact upon health, quality of life, and the ability to achieve physical and mental potential.
