Society members include individuals from the private, public, and academic sectors with interest in all aspects of aquatic plant management. Annual meetings provide updates on South Carolina  & North Carolina control programs in public water bodies along with major utility companies efforts. New treatment options are presented along with success stories of current treatments.  Diverse programs include information on biological control, habitat enhancement, wildlife and waterfowl, hands-on workshops, and many other varied topics.  The directory is a useful source of names, addresses, and other information about individuals with interests in aquatic plants in South Carolina and neighboring states.
