Regulations Reports Open BurnOpen Burn PermitsIn 2002, under this regulation (20.2.60 NMAC), NMED issued permits for operational burns that are conducted for mitigation of hazards associated with high-explosive-contaminated materials and waste and research of accident scenarios involving fire. Rad-NESHAPRad-NESHAP Construction/Modification ApprovalsUnder the Radionuclides-National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (Rad-NESHAP) regulation, pre-construction applications are sent to EPA for new or modified projects that increase radiological emissions over a specified threshold. LANL does not have any active Rad-NESHAP pre-construction permits. Regulations
