Overview
Kentucky State University's Office of Educational Outreach strives to reach, teach, and inspire members of the Franklin County community, as well as our own. We set many goals towards outreaching to the community in order to enhance the knowledge and relationship between KSU, the people of Frankfort, and the surrounding counties. In efforts to reach those goals, we provide the community with several outreach programs and services.
The KSU Office of Educational Outreach has collaborated with many community partners, families in the community, KSU students, and the KSU faculty and staff. Through these collaborations we have accomplished many goals and have served the community well. Our office has provided programs and services such as: an After-School Tutorial Program, Summer Youth Enrichment Program, Summer Transportation Institute, Halloween Escapade with Big Brothers & Big Sisters; which all tie into our Service Learning Program.
