Public water access

• Looking for a place to launch a boat? There are nearly 2,000 Public Access Sites in Minnesota.

• Most of them are open 24 hours a day.

• No fee is required to launch your boat. If the access is located in a park, there may be a vehicle admission fee. Find out about purchasing a Minnesota State Parks permit.

• Accesses are available for both trailer and carry-in. 12 - 18 foot boats can be launched at most accesses with launch ramps.
