CanVis Visual Simulation Tool
Computer-generated simulations or visualizations are helpful to “see” the potential impacts of issues like climate change and development alternatives. CanVis software is a free and easy-to-use program designed to help resource professionals create photo-realistic simulations that reflect future management decisions. Images of plants, people, wildlife, structures, park elements, and agricultural and aquatic features are included in a library of objects that can be quickly added to a base image. Users can create custom images too. Learn basic functions in one hour or less.
