New 2009 8-Hour Ozone Nonattainment Boundary Designations

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency recently reviewed the National Ambient Air Quality Standards for Ozone and proposed to strengthen them to a more protective level. New Kansas Clean Diesel Grant Program

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has received a grant of approximately $200,000 from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to fund year one of a Clean Diesel Program in Kansas.
