Interpretive Letters
The Terrorism Risk Insurance Program (TRIP) Office has responded to individual requests for interpretations of the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act (TRIA) from various parties seeking guidance on how the Act may affect their individual circumstances. In 31 C.F.R. § 50.9, Treasury provided a procedure for requesting TRIA interpretations and noted that responses by the TRIP Office would be made publicly available.
