Upon the Secretary’s certification of an
act of terrorism, the TRIP web-based Facility for receiving claims from insurers
will be activated and
will provide the means for insurers to seek assistance through telephone
and e-mail contacts. Until then, questions regarding the claim process may
be directed to: TRIP.questions@do.treas.gov.
