Collateral Duty Addictions Representative (CDAR)

As the District Seven CDAR, I am required to ensure that each member of our command is fully aware of Coast Guard policies concerning substance abuse. 

My duties include assisting individuals in developing sound coping skills around the appropriate use and non-use of alcohol and other drugs, as well as assisting supervisors and command representatives in developing concrete skills in identifying and referring individuals who are alcohol or drug abusive.
