Font Size Selection

You can change the size of the font used for the EEOC web site with these links: A A A which appear here and on this site's home page. These buttons set a cookie on your browser to ensure that your choice is consistent throughout the EEOC web site. This cookie is never seen by our web server or any other software except your own web browser. The cookie disappears as soon as you shut down your web browser. No information of any kind, other than a single word indicating your font size selection (normal, large and huge), is ever stored in this cookie.

The actual change in font size is done through style sheets. You can use your web browser's built-in font-sizing options instead, or use both. They will not interfere with each other.

The "Plain" Option

The plain option sets a cookie that tells your browser to load a blank style sheet. This means you will see the basic text of this site without font changes or any of the layout and design elements we've used. It won't be attractive, but if for some reason you are having difficulty viewing this site, this will let you get to all of the information. If you've selected "plain" by mistake, choose one of the font-size controls above to restore the normal style sheets.
