This is the virtual home of the
East Coast Shellfish
Growers Association!

Our annual "Walk on the Hill" will be January 26th through January 30th, 2009. We will start with our National Molluscan Shellfish Committee meeting on Monday, January 26th and our annual "Let the World be Your Oyster Reception" will be on Wednesday, January 28th. The 2007 revision of the National Shellfish Sanitation Program, Guide For the Control of Molluscan Shellfish, has been posted on the Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (CFSAN) web site at http://www.cfsan.fda.gov/~ear/nss4-toc.html. This document supersedes the 2005 Model Ordinance document for the safe and sanitary control of the growing, processing and shipping of molluscan shellfish. November 13, 2008.
