The National e-Commerce Extension Initiative to Welcome New Year with New Curricula

Targeting Spanish speakers as well as businesses with limited resources, this coming year will see new and varied curricula being offered by The National e-Commerce Extension Initiative. These programs discussed below, along with others also in development, will be part of the 2009 new line-up of learning modules to be added to the already growing list of online educational materials.

First for 2009, a program assisting those with limited resources in conducting business and making online sales will make its debut. The curriculum, developed Dr. Kimball P. Marshall of Alcorn State University, is the first of its kind to be offered. Later in the spring, there will also be new curricula added for Spanish Speakers that will be published in both English and Spanish and are set to address the needs of so many of native Spanish speakers served by all levels of Cooperative Extension. Lastly, those interested in generating online food product sales will have an online learning module that specifically addresses many questions in this area. Visit The Learning Center to access the five curricula currently available.
