New 2009 8-Hour Ozone Nonattainment Boundary Designations
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency recently reviewed the National Ambient Air Quality Standards for Ozone and proposed to strengthen them to a more protective level. New Kansas Clean Diesel Grant Program
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has received a grant of approximately $200,000 from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to fund year one of a Clean Diesel Program in Kansas. If selected, participants will be reimbursed for the purchase of diesel emission control equipment, idle reduction equipment, vehicle replacements, and engine repowering in an effort to reduce diesel emissions across the state.Morefor Kansas Clean Diesel Grant Program
