NEW FINDINGS:
Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress Brief summarizes recent Center findings from the first published studies of human PTSD postmortem brain (pfc) and the first mitochondrial studies of PTSD.
The findings suggest promising new pathways for PTSD prevention, early intervention and treatment that have important implications for optimizing the health and mental health of our nation�s military, as well as civilians exposed to traumatic events.
