| Abstract:
Pyrazophos, developed by Hoechst AG, is one of the first systemic fungicides, giving outstanding control of cucumber powdery mildew. Experiments with artificial inoculations have demonstrated protective as well as curative activity. Recently conducted trials show that Pyrazophos still is a very effective compound, also under conditions of a decreasing efficacy of sterol biosynthesis inhibiting fungicides. Nevertheless it is recommended to spray Pyrazophos not exclusively if frequently replicated treatments have to be done. | |
