ASAP wants you to have access to food that’s thousands of miles fresher.
Here are some of the ways we can help:
Look for the Appalachian Grown label. Displayed on produce and in grocery stores and restaurants, it shows you what’s local.
Use the Local Food Guide, a free directory to farms, businesses using local agricultural products, and more. The Guide is available in print and online.
Visit the Asheville City Market. Or find a tailgate market in your area.
Participate by attending events such as the annual Farm Tour or eat out during the seasonal Get Local restaurant event.
Learn out who grows your food .
Post your wants and offers for produce, livestock, equipment, land, jobs, and more in our classifieds section .
Visit our calendar to read about the latest events related to sustainable agriculture and local food.
