Bridges to the Futures Program

The Bridges to the Future Programs (Bridges to the Baccalaureate Degree and Bridges to the Doctorate Program) provide support to institutions to help students in associate’s or master’s degree programs make the sometimes-difficult transition to the next level of training. The programs are designed to increase the number of students from underrepresented groups and/or populations disproportionately affected by health disparities who transfer and complete the baccalaureate and Ph.D. degree, respectively, in the biomedical and behavioral sciences. Bridges programs are co-sponsored by NIH’s National Center on Minority Health and Health Disparities.

For more information on the Bridges Program, contact Dr. Shiva Singh at 301-594-3900.
