News

Media is an incredibly useful and important means for us to distribute our message. Over the past few years, there has been a dramatic increase of newspaper articles, blogs, magazine features and television spots about the local food movement. Each story, picture, and quote helps us in our mission, whether it directly references our organization, a partner, or local food and farming in general. They say “any news is good news.” Well, in our case as a small organization with big goals, that saying is very true.

Check here for recent news about the Coalition or our programs or any newsworthy items that we find fascinating, educational and/or important.

We have recently joined forces with Stewardship Partners and Salmon Safe to promote local agriculture and environmental stewardship.
