The WSU Center for Sustaining Agriculture and Natural Reources (CSANR) has teaching, reserach, and extension functions as part of its overall mission. The CSANR collaborates with and serves Extension, the College of Agriculture, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences, and the entire university. This broad collaboration stems from the realization that sustainability is inherently interdisciplinary and faculty across the university are making contributions to sustainability.
The CSANR wants to build linkages with departments, counties, centers, and colleges. Faculty affiliation with the CSANR is on effective means of stregthening ties and coordinating efforts. Affiliation is a relationship in which faculty agree with the mission and goals of the CSANR and participate with CSANR leadership in support of a common project or program focus.
