 Education and Outreach

The Arizona Department of Water Resources is committed to providing educational resources and disseminating information through outreach efforts around the State.  Our mission is to ensure a long-term, sufficient, and secure supply for the state; to develop public policy that promotes efficient use and equitable distribution of water in an environmentally and economically sound manner.  Education and outreach efforts help us fulfill this mission through our ability to collect and provide water resource information.  Our long-range planning efforts allow us to help manage Arizona’s water resource more effectively.  Our water resource data available to the general public can be obtained by contacting our Bookstore 602-771-8638 or through http://www.azwater.gov/.  For a look at the educational resources we have available please check out our Drought and Conservation start-up page.
