FRIENDS

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The FRIENDS program is a branch of the Academic Center for Excellence (ACE), and serves as an academic resource program that assists non-traditional students who are beginning or continuing their college education. The program is designed to address the holistic development of non-traditional students; while supporting their retention and satisfaction rates. In collaboration with ACE, academic assistance is provided across the curriculum. In addition, the program works in cooperation with on-campus departments and community agencies; providing professional and life-skills workshops, valuable information and opportunities for peer support.

PROGRAM GROWTH

In order for the program to continue to grow and meet changing needs, we welcome the comments and suggestions of our students. Your input is extremely valuable. Even if you are a KSU non-traditional student unfamiliar with FRIENDS, you now have an opportunity to tell us what we can do to help you succeed. Please take a moment and complete our survey.
